Capital Platform on the 9th Ethnik and TÜRKMEN International festival

Chairman of the CAPITAL PLATFORM Mustafa Kurt, who was present in BALIKESIR to attend the 9th Ethnik and TÜRKMEN International festival, first visited the Governor of BALIKESIR Ahmet Turhan.

Accompanying the Capital Platform’s visitation was the Syrian singer Adil Şan, Azerbaijan’s National Hero İbad Hüseyinli, the President of the Kepsut Ethnic Association Muharrem Seren, and poetry interpreter Zeynep Köşker.
Members of the Capital Platform presented the Governor Turhan with the annual report of the Capital International Brotherhood Platform along with a plaque.
Governor Turhan expressed his pleasure with Capital Platform’s visit, and then attended the opening of an exhibition organized by Balikesir province and the Chamber of Landscape Architects of Turkey, at Vali Rıza’s exhibition hall, featuring the results of urban rehabilitation, landscape design, and restitution and restoration project.
At the exhibition, landscape architect students presented to the public, Landscape Analysis and design projects, they meticulously prepared, the work title of which varied such as;
Landscape Analysis and Design project of the Gönül road at Cunda Island in Ayvalık.
Landscape Planning Design project of the marshy area on the path of “Şeytan Sofrası” in Ayvalık.
The Design project of “Üçpınarlar Mera” area in Balıkesir city center and Landscape Plan Decisions relating to Settlement Patterns.
The opening ceremony was conducted by Governor Ahmet Turhan, Chamber of Landscape Architects Redife Kolçak, Balikesir Provincial Representative Serdar Göktekin, and The General Chairman of the Capital Platform International Brotherhood, and Honoraty Concul of the Kyrgyz Republic Mustafa Kurt, and was attended by students and a large number of government officials.
The 9th Ethnic International Festival started with Mehtar (The Ottoman Military March) from the city center.
During the festival the recent event accrued in Egypt were condemned and the Adawiyah square was declared a Sister Square. At the Balıkesir festival the Nomads and türkmens celebrated side by side. The Nomads walked from the city square to Martyr’s Park and caught the attention with their traditional costumes, there procession was accompanied by camels and the Mehtar band. While citizens applauded the march, two young girls by the names Sümeyye Altay and Nilay Adın, road the camels, though scared at first they enjoyed it later. The ceremonies were attended by Balikesir Governor Ahmet Turhan, Mayor Ismail Ok, Balikesir Chamber of Commerce President Yucel Yilmaz , the General President of Capital Platform and Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan Dr. Mustafa Kurt , Syrian singer Adil , Ibad Hüseyinli National Hero of Azerbaijan , President of the Kepsut Nomad Association Muharram Seren, and many citizens. At the end of the procession in Martyrs Park, citizens and Nomads watched the Mehtar military band’s show. Ramazan Aksoy, who was dressed in the Nomad garb said ” Years ago our elders dressed in these grabs, and today in our festivities we wanted to recollect those days”. Emcee Zeynep köşker announced a minute’s silence for the victims of Egypt and Syria.
